I'm taking a Maya class, beginning level, and to learn the basis, my prof has us do 10 solid tutorials, most of which can be found in the Maya Help option in the program.
They call this one Egg in a Cup. I call it one of the scariest things I've ever modeled. Seriously. That egg looks more like a Behlit (which is why at my bf's urgings, i recolored the "egg" red).
It reminds me a little of those putty stress relief things, but just that tad creepier - I could just imagine it's face turning to a sneer. Oh, and hard apple cider still rules.
